Natural red wine from Alicante of the Monastrel variety.
Appearance:
Red wine with a clear appearance, dense tear. Medium intensity(+) garnet colour.
Olfactory phase:
Clean nose of medium intensity (+), with marked nuances of black fruit, plums, medicinal and balsamic notes, eucalyptus, and a background of toasted wood that provides vanilla and sweet spices.
Tasting phase:
In the mouth it is dry, medium acidity, high alcohol, high body with a medium (+) sweet tannin. The intensity of flavours is medium (+) with hints of black fruit, vanilla and medicinal notes. The finish is long with a tannin that clogs the mouth.
Dishes: Rice dishes, pulses, red meats, oily fish, cured cheeses, blue cheeses.
Desserts: Cream or fruit cakes, puff pastry desserts and dried fruits.
